Bright cobalt blue satin cord has been doubled and woven into five intricate Chinese double coin knots which indicate prosperity and long life. I have added a hand painted blue and white porcelain bead with a chrysanthemum motif which has been wire wrapped with pearlescent seed beads and an amazonite gemstone bead.
Necklace is approximately 17 inches (43cm) long and has a silver plated scroll design toggle clasp. Clasps are attached with the same care I give to my other satin necklace cords. The ends of the satin cord have been heat sealed and then folded over the clasps and stitched down with strong thread and fastened with hand wound coils of wire the ends of which I have anchored into the cord.
Matching earrings are included which have handcrafted sterling silver hook ear wires. Earrings hang down approximately 1 1/4 inch (3cm) past the end of the ear wires.
