It's almost back to school time and many of you are looking forward to taking a break from travel and the hustle and bustle of summer activities and settling back into a routine.

This month I submitted an article to Jewelry Business Success Tips on-line newsletter and it was published. It has brought me a lot of very nice publicity and page views.
Jewelry trends tend to follow color trends so I have reviewed the fashion color forecast for Fall and Winter. The surprise for me was to see so many "summery" colors. The greens, blues and yellows will tend toward the clear and intense end of the spectrum. Those traditional Fall russets and browns will be "muddied" into salmons, taupes and milk chocolate colors. The color palate will be accented with cool berry, violet and even lilac and dusty rose. This is definitely not what we've come to expect for the cooler months of the year. I am interested to see what holiday colors for decor and fashion will be this year.
